My Name is Corey Culp. I’m running for Meridian School board Po.1. I am an extremely proud Meridian Alumni and a very passionate father of three great kids enrolled in the Meridian School District. I currently serve as the president of Meridian Youth Sports, active youth football director, youth sports coach, and volunteer high school football coach.  I am here to serve my community and have been doing so for over a decade.

I am running for this position because I feel it’s my duty to help bring back a voice to the parents of our community. In today’s politically charged climate our kids are being bombarded with issues I don’t believe belong in the schools. We as parents deserve the right to have a voice in what, and when our kids learn certain subjects. I was taken aback and felt helpless as I watched our current school board pass a Sex Ed bill that was widely unpopular in our community. Watching this awakened the realization in myself that it’s my time to serve.

I believe I’m the perfect candidate to be a representative for my community, and stand up to the voices that, in my opinion, don’t always have our children’s best interest at heart. Let us work together and right the ship and bring strong Family Values, and Accountability back to our community.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
